ICA and Extenda just signed a new strategic 5-year agreement to continue the evolution of all ICA checkout systems; traditional, self-checkout and self-scanners. Extenda is ICA´s chosen checkout software provider. This long-term relationship, started in 1998, led to implement solutions to simplify shopping and optimize the customer experience and provide efficiency in stores. Most recently, Extenda provided the company with a new generation of self-scan solutions. ICA has the second largest grocery installation of self-scan devices in the world.
